I checked the reviews before going to this place and was expecting good sushi. But this restaurant surpassed my expectations. First of all it is spacious (as for sushi restaurant) and very neat. The cooking area, tables, highchair, washroom were very clean. Looking at sushi chefs wearing hats and working on clean tables, I felt good about eating the sushi they made. And most importantly, the sushi, it is the best I've ever had. This is the first time I didn't really need that much of soy sauce. The taste was just fantastic. Now it is my very favorite place for sushi.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon at 12:30 and was promptly seated. Service was kind and quick, with a sizeable lunch special menu. I especially liked how there was an option for regular or deluxe, so I opted for the deluxe sashimi/sushi lunch combo and was not disappointed. The variety of fish was good and definitely premium, with the added experience of the waitress telling me which fish was which. We also got the red dragon roll and spicy tuna, both of which were great! Price range is a bit high though, only drawback.

This is an example of a restaurant that has such amazing food, but the overall experience can be easily ruined by horrible service. I took my family here for my birthday last weekend with our bill costing us over $500. First of all, the restaurant forgot about our reservation and the manager apologized to me as they sat us down in a 4 top table for 11 people and asked us to wait for the table beside us to finish eating. He promised us a discount and apologized for making us wait 30 minutes to finally get a table. As we were waiting, I ordered two large party boats so my family does not have to wait another hour to eat. Our server, Jennifer, took an extremely long time to come to the table and even ask us what we want to drink. I had to get out of the table and ask her to please take our orders, which was about 15-20 minutes after we sat down. She asked us if we wanted to start with appetizers as the boats would not be ready anytime soon. My mother then tried to make a birthday toast three times as she was being interrupted by Jennifer approaching the table and yelling out to my guests asking them to make space for all the food that she was suddenly bringing out, EVERYTHING at the same time. The 10 appetizers and two huge boats, without preparing the table. The worst part of this experience is that we gave her a cake with candles at arrival and asked her to bring it out in the end and have us sing happy birthday to me. From the moment the food landed our table, NOTHING was precleared or taken away until I had to ask three servers to do it and order some dessert. The only thing that Jennifer managed to do during this time is tell us that there is a new reservation coming up in half an hour and that we need to leave before they arrive. So then the table is finally cleared, she brings us the cake with NO candles/ cutlery/plates/knife and dumps it on top of the box that it came in the middle of the table. We were shocked. I asked her where the candles are and she just said that they are in the back and that she will bring them. She brought 3 of them out of the whole pack and just dropped it on the table with no lighter until we explained to her that she just ruined an entire birthday surprise and asked her to take the cake back. We complained to the manager and he apologized but did not give us a discount or do anything else about it. I have worked in the service industry, I know how difficult it is to be a server, I always tip 18-20% no matter how average the service may seem, but I have never, ever, experienced such a crappy quality service that somehow managed to ruin my entire birthday mood.

Food presentation looked amazing. Good food & service. Good if your looking for authentic tasting sushi. Atmosphere was very nice. I will come back again for sure!
