Visited Northern Dumplings Kitchen a while back with my family. The restaurant was spacious. My parents had dumplings to share and I had stir-fried pea sprouts. The dumplings were not freshly steam at the time. While the wrappers were thin, the juice was absorbed by the wrapper due to its lack of freshness. My parents were disappointed in their dumplings. Pea sprouts were decent. We all enjoyed it and felt it was up to par. Although the restaurant was authentic, better quality control can definitely improve our experience.

One of the better quality dumpling places in Richmond Hill. The food here is delicious while the owners here are definitely great to interact with; extremely nice. It's a bit pricey but you'll be getting quality with what you order while you dine in at this place. We ordered the soup dumplings, steamed pork and leek dumplings and they were delicious. The dumplings are definitely bigger than average and taste way better than most places that make these. This place does NOT accept debit/credit so cash will be the only method of payment there is so heads up! All in all, a great place to eat if you're in the area!

I've been here only once but my experience was very good. The place serves tasty food at fair prices, you get a lot of bang for your buck. Don't let a rather run-down look and limited seating scare you. Keep in mind, it's cash only.

The place is hot, very hot... not enough air circulation... the dumpling is very salty... we order couple kinds of dumpling, all taste very salty... The fired rice is oily... Won't go back again...
