I had a lovely experience at Hot Pot King. Upon waking in you'll notice the place is quite humid, which was nice for a chilly evening. Though the place a little pricier than I had expected, I thought it was worth it. Everyone gets an individual pot so you can make your food to your liking (and it means you can dine with vegetarians without worrying!) I was also impressed by their little make your own sauce station. The menu offers plenty of options and service was very quick and minimalistic. Overall, a nice experience, with a sweet soft serve ice cream finish.

First time eating at a hot pot style restaurant. The waitress was very nice, attentive and walked us through the process. Gave us a description of the bases and sides and told us how to order and cook the food. Food came out very quickly, was fresh and completely delicious. I liked making my own dipping sauce. I went on a weekend for dinner service, and its all you can eat so the price reflects that like any other all you can eat. I was full by the end and was overall very happy. The restaurant was busy and had a good atmosphere. Definitely will be coming back!

It was different experience from when they just opened. I went to Hot Pot King when they just opened, and I went there today. So, it has been a while I haven't been there. Today, the some menu items are not available and the staff are not kind at all. They looked so tired and seemed like they didn't want to work. Actually, when I tried there first time, the food was good, but the servers, as I ordered the food more and more times, they seem like got annoyed. So, almost at the end of the meal, when they clean my table, they looked like angry. All you can eat restaurant shouldn't be like that. I'm not going there anymore.

It was our first time here and our first impression was that the interior looks really nice and cozy, modern and clean. We spoke to the waitress and she was helpful and explained how to use the ipad to order items( it's very similar to some all you can eat sushi restaurants) I got the tomato base broth and my wife got half spicy (it turned out to be too spicy for both of us) If you have to change the broth it's $2.50 extra. Ok, so all that said and done, the food wasn't that great, if you've never had hot pot before maybe this isn't the right place to try for the first time.

Went in on a Saturday night with 2 other people and we all agree that it was not worth the price. Very limited on choice , and the broth was rather sub-par. I ended up getting sick that night and one of the other people wasn't feeling to great but was able to sleep it off. I however was up most the night sick, food was cooked properly. WE went in hoping for a different experience and we got it but not in the good way. Won't be wasting my money there.
