Jeans is a great place to go for a good breakfast for a good price! I have had great service previous times , unluckily this previous experience was a bit of a disappointment. Our server seemed very disorganized and didn't prioritize customer service, never once checking in or talking to us after taking our order. She continued to not make eye contact and focus on other tasks even when waving her down to get her attention. Luckily a more experienced waitress picked up the slack and handled our refills and got us the drinks the first waitress forgot to bring let alone even ask about.. I understand the food business and how crazy a lunch rush can become, but not even being a full house I was disappointed at the food quality. (Soggy floppy bread, cold bacon, mistakes in our order).

The food is decent the service was ok, wasn't bad but wasn't note worthy either.

To be fair we didn't eat here. We were turned off by the cash only and US currency accepted at par. Not OK!

Service was very slow. Had to sit at a dirty table which took quite a while to be cleared. Cloth it was wiped with looked grungy, server left table very wet before bringing paper placemats. She somewhat jokingly complained about having to come "all the way back here" to our table. Houseflies buzzing around were not appreciated. Washrooms not terribly clean, was surprised to see an old wooden change-table with cloth coverings in washroom. Made me wonder about other areas where up to date hygiene practises might be lacking. Eggs ordered over easy were undercooked (slimy), bacon and sausage both seriously undercooked, portions of sausage were raw. "Homemade" berry pie was made with commercial crust that was close to raw dough on the bottom, filling was some kind of mush that was very dry and tasteless, "berries" were unidentifiable. Came here because of positive online reviews stating this is where the locals come. They can keep Jean's, will look elsewhere next time in the area.

- Food took an hour to come out, despite the restaurant being empty. - Potatoes were cold, despite the long wait. (We assumed it would be fresh.) - Friend's French toast had a hair in it. - Coffee tasted very watered down. - Inexpensive prices. - Omelette was decent. - Friendly staff. Not a very good experience overall, felt like a cheap diner. Most likely won't come back again.
