Delicious food and great new staff. Chicken and waffles are to die for, the ribs fall off the bone, the pulled pork is mouthwatering. My kids love coming here and each time they want to try more and from their menu. Would definitely recommend

The place just had a re-opening this week, so we tried it out. Glad we did! I had the chicken and waffles and they were sooooo tasty. Chicken was very crispy and the waffles were crunchy on the outside but nice and soft on the inside. Nice atmosphere too, and a good menu selection to choose from. Would recommend.

Sav has an all new staff and we look forward to seeing you come in and check out the food ! We take great pride in keeping All food the comes over the counter fresh and warm. As kitchen manager I believe that if I wouldn't eat it why serve it . Thanks to everyone that has helped us move forward!! Looking forward to a bright and exciting 2018 !

This owner doesn't pay her employees, discriminates against workers with disabilities and chases talent away. Stay away from this place, Stratford doesn't need another corrupt restaurant in town. There are tons of other good spots you can go to in Stratford. This should be avoided at all cost

I waited a while to post this review, hoping that maybe I could give this place a second chance, but even after receiving 50% our bill the first visit l, I can't bring myself to go back. We booked a reservation on Open Table for a Saturday dinner, to which the server had no record of - luckily another couple was just finishing up - so we were sat quickly regardless. Our server was lovely, but told us that there were a few menu items missing as they had run out, including the pulled pork which my boyfriend and I had been excited to try. Also, the server told us that there was no Diet Coke because the owner didn't believe in aspartame, which I thought to be kind of odd. During the hour-plus wait for our food, we watched 2 couples receive the pulled pork that we were told was sold out. When our food finally arrived, we were the second last table left in the restaurant, and our food was room temperature at best. The fried chicken was so dry and burnt, that my boyfriend ate at the ribs I ordered instead, which I barely touched. They were salty, rubbery, and lacking that true smokey flavour. The mac n cheese was bland and floury, and the potato salad was saturated in whatever sauce was on it. We later found out that the pulled pork was actually available, and that we didn't receive the cornbread that we should have. Overall, a really poor dining experience despite the discounted meal. The restaurant needs to focus on quality, and speed of service. This food was not at all reminiscent of the southern food that I am (very) familiar with, but even moreso, poorly cooked. Maybe a more slimline menu and better organization could help revive this unfortunate restaurant with good intentions.
