A local brewery recommended this place to me. I’m A little shocked they don’t offer anything from any of the local brewery’s, Mostly products are from the big brewers and a couple of selections from some out of town brewers. Good food but no local beer takes it down a notch. I expect that from a chain restaurant but local needs to support local!

Large portion sizes of super delicious food. There wasn't a dish I tried and didn't love. Cool and funny staff. The vibe there is super chill. They have daily specials and live music on certain days.

Love this place - so fun and quirky! If you don't have high expectations for the food, it's great. The food has been hit or miss for me. Personally I wouldn't recommend Taco Tuesday, I didn't think the tacos were worth it (especially because there is always a wait). But atmosphere is great and I always enjoy going.

Ethyl's is the best bar in Waterloo, possibly the whole Region. Friendly staff and owner, great vibe, super diverse crowd, and awesome food. If you have not been here then you should go. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday specials are the best. Also keep your eyes out for the seasonal specials like the fish fry or Cinco de Mayo. Don't come here too often though... it's already busy enough. Did I mention pulled pork nachos?? They are even good for your health.

Interesting place, not for everyone. Dive bar atmosphere with the best music from all sorts of genres. Taco tuesdays are great but their "salsa" is just tomatoes lol. Nice cold beer, friendly but busy bartenders.
