Very disappointed.. we waited over an hour for food! They did gave us a small discount because we waited so long.. but the food was just ok for the high price. My wife got the fall flavors special, and it was a small piece of fish, three pieces asparagus, and small portion of tasteless potatoes. The appetizer, was teeny.. the dessert was decent, but not the best we've had on PEI. I got the vegetarian pasta, and again very small portion, the size of an appetizer. The best part of the night was the local artist playing tunes on the guitar, other than that, not worth the money! So many better restaurants on PEI, save your money and try something else.

Water's Edge was one of our best experiences on PEI so far! We had dinner here tonight near the end of the evening. The Cajun Mussels appetizer was delicious and very fresh! We had the salmon and grilled sirloin with both being great! The desserts were also excellent. I had the raspberry cheesecake and it was wonderful! Being from NY we are spoiled with our cheesecake but this cheesecake was some of the best I have ever had. The staff was wonderful and so friendly! Our waitress was the best we have ever had anywhere!!!! I wish we had gotten her name but she had a new staff nametag. She was extremely attentive, efficient, and friendly. She asked us why we were on the island and we told her it was our honeymoon. She went out of her way to say congratulations and offered us wonderful suggestions of where to go on the island. After my wife showed her a picture of our Sheltie she did say she had a German Shepherd! We also tend to watch around a restaurant and all the staff were chatting with customers while being extremely friendly and so efficient! The manager on our way out thanked us and offered her congratulations. You could not ask for a nicer more attentive staff. I hope a manager sees this and shares it with the staff that was working that night.
