An incredible dinner! Staff was awesome and the food delicious. One of the best chowders I have had in a long time and the mains were made perfectly. The pork belly and scallops were delicious. Pork belly slow cooked over three days, fell apart incredible. Deserts were great too. Try the bread pudding.

Top notch restaurant! Personable, prompt service, classy atmosphere with a really cool water wall, and the food is amazing. Every dish, from appetizer to meal to dessert, was delicious. I never order Surf and Turf, but the unique pairing of Asian-inspired pork belly and apple-raisin chutney scallops was flavourful and scrumptious.

We took our friends from BC here for dinner on Thanksgiving night (Monday Oct 9, 2017) - absolutely top notch food and service! I would recommend this place to anyone willing to listen, and I have eaten in many, many fine dinning establishments right across this fine country over the years. Claddagh House is one of the best! Our food was fresh, hot, delicious, and presented with an attention to detail that was very, very pleasing to the eyes. People eat with their eyes before eating with their mouths, and all our plates were truly eye appealing. The Lobster Risotto was delicate, flavorful, and just the right texture. The Claddagh Surf n Turf was an innovation on the old classic that was presented well on the plate and went down even better. It will be my next meal. The local Halibut was seared on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. A truly memorable meal. Cathy - our server, and a fixture at the Claddagh is so friendly and outgoing, yet with the wherewithal to know just when to either leave the table alone or to join in and contribute to the conversation. She is very friendly, helpful, and made us feel as though we were part of her "family" and eating in her dinning room. The food, and the atmosphere were great but Cathy's attentiveness was outstanding. Cathy's recommendation of the Fig Pudding (chef''s own recipe) for dessert was spot on and topped off my meal to perfection. Even my wife (who doesn't like figs) had a taste and said that she wished she had ordered it for herself.... although her Triple Chocolate Cheesecake was a masterpiece in and of itself. I am glad that the Claddagh House is in Charlottetown (where we recently moved to) because we will certainly be back - and soon!
