Went there for lunch with a friend. I had ordered Green chicken Enchiladas and my friend ordered Nachos with a side of Guac. We took a seat and mine arrived first in a timely fashion. First thing I noticed was it wasn't Green sauce it was the Red sauce. But whatever, I'll eat it. Not a big deal. I take a bite and it is so dry in the middle that not even the sauce or sour cream could help with how dry this was. It reminded me if I had went to restaurant and took home left overs and the next night I reheated them in the microwave. My friends food did not arrive when mine did despite him having ordered first. I wait for 5 min for his food but they are busy so maybe it's backed up a little, so I started to eat. I had eaten over half my meal and we started to see people who ordered 5-6 people after us getting their food and my friends nachos still no where to be found. Walk to the counter to ask and they had forgotten the Nachos in the microwave for what has been now 15 min. He is given the plate and he sits back down. Because the Nachos were in the microwave for that amount of time, they were soggy from the Salsa and veggies juices. Noodle like. He takes a couple bites and brings it back. Letting them know that he doesn't want it because they were soggy from sitting in the microwave. The owner and lady behind the counter both look at him, neither of them ask him any follow up questions, nor they do offer anything in return. They just take the dish and walk away. Which was a contrast from the lady who took our order who was knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. What makes this visit so disheartening and disappointing is the original in the farmers market contrast from night and day. I won't be going back to the restaurant, and I'll stick the with farmers market version. :( If I had to say more, I prefer if it was a restaurant style rather than a subway style restaurant. It still feels like Burrito Jax but serve more than just Burritos.

I have to say, none of the negative reviews on here bear any resemblance to our experience at this place. It's a real gem, and a welcome addition to Charlottetown's mealtime offerings. The food was warm, delicious, and made entirely in-house -- it's food made by people who take pride in what they do, and it definitely shows. The pork quesadilla was tasty, as was the steak taco, and we finished it off with a truly glorious churro. The owner is wonderfully friendly, as is the rest of the staff -- we left full, happy, and definitely inclined to return for more!

Incredible food! Super authentic and delicious, you can tell this food was made with love. Everything came promptly and was hot and tasty. Great vegetarian options. Be sure you try the guacamole and the churros!

My wife wanted to give this a -2 but we settled on 1. This was by far the worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. It was lukewarm and just a mush.

When I come to Charlottetown I schedule lunch at Claudia's at least once. Fresh ingredients, well portioned, rich sauces. Her Guacamole and Pico 😍 You must just try everything as I was did, what I loved the most was completely unexpected! Attentive touches like Guava soda and Churros if you manage one before they sell out! Mexican beer is also sold and there is a cocktail menu. Very family friendly. Staff is fantastic. The only place to have Mexican on the island.
