Amazing!!! Amazing smoke meat joint! My husband and I came in from Ottawa and our sales person recommended this spot... We couldn't believe how juicy and flavorful the meals were! We are definitely going back there for breakfast before leaving for Ottawa... (It's a 35 min detour from where we are but very very very very worth it)

Awesome place! The food is really great, nice atmosphere, ample parking. There is often live music although sometimes it's a bit too loud for to long if you want to talk with your group, there is nowhere to go that's quieter. Still though, great place!

Great food, good stuff, a great place to hang out.. Yes orders under $50 have to be paid cash, but they do have a bank machine by the front door.. Yes there is a line up to order your food, but it's worth it and often samples are handed out while waiting and the line moves pretty quickly.. Your food is brought to you to your table, while you're enjoying a live musician playing.. We had an often for bike night, or cruise night to see the old hot rods.. Have met Pete a few times as well, damn nice guy! You get what you pay for quality food

What can I say? It's the local favourite for Smoke Meat sandwiches. Well worth the drive if you don't live near. The classic plate of smoke meat, fries, coleslaw and cherry cola makes this a Montreal experience. Very relaxed atmosphere. Went for lunch, left full and satisfied.

The food was great, but the tables were snug. Apparently it's always loaded in there so I completely understand. First time there and I found the smoked meat sandwich was very good, hard to handle though. That meat melts in your mouth, our little one without teeth might have been fine eating the meat! The fries weren't as exceptional but we were there to try the sandwiches. Someone we went with mentioned he'd had a lot of variety and it is always phenomenal, so it's not just what I got that was good. Overall I loved it and would for sure go back, not a great place for little kids but they do have a simple burger/dog with fries option for them (if they don't want to enjoy the great sandwiches).
