Tonight's adventure was not as good as some others I have had at a Madison's. They have english menus, some servers speak english. Note that no one at a Madison's, so far, has made me feel bad for not knowing enough french. Our waiter was good, he was polite, knowledgeable and you can tell he was good at his job. I didn't catch his name (I am bad at remembering) but he had a tattoo "GG' on his left (?) wrist. (Thanks Mate!) My burger was good, good fries, but my husband's club sandwich was piled in the middle, instead of being spread out over the bread. His bread had a burnt corner from being on a heat source too long. A glass of wine is a little more than most places by a few dollars. The music was just 'too darn loud' as the old folks in the 80's movies say. Loud Hip Hip is not the atmosphere for 5pm. We almost walked out just from that. It would be fine for later, but the clientele was much older people, with a few exceptions. Perhaps playing music for clientele and not staff would be better. The waiter did eventually change it at our 'discussion' so he got a bigger tip. An older couple came in for a large party and the lady was in a wheelchair and no one seemed interested in accommodating her by moving chairs./ Then after ten minutes in, no one had even asked if they wanted a drink while they waited for the rest of their group. There was a child running around ALL over the place and the parents didn't bat an eye. This doesn't reflect on the restaurant, I just wanted to remind people that no one wants to see your crappy behaved kids. SUMMARY; SERVICE, Our waiter was fantastic. English menus and staff on hand FOOD; Half the food was good, easily improved by common sense. PRICES; Well, you could spend just as much anywhere these days so it's average. ATMOSPHERE; It was disjointed this time but has not been at other times. Luck of the draw.

Nice resto, beautifully renovated. Menu needs an update though. Great service.

They had a really nice drink selection here! The food was really good too, but the onion soup was not very good.

Love the lunch special (2 for $22) that you can share with colleague but it's been quiet a while they didn't have it. We want it back please!!!
