I wasn't expecting much. I remembered this place as an outdated leftover from the 80's. But since they exited bankruptcy and moved across the highway, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. While they don't have all the cuts you would expect (like no rib eye) and cleverly use older or different names to make lesser cuts seem more interesting, the meat was very well aged and cooked. Very tender and served at the right temperature. The free bread was horrible, the bacon corn soup was ok, the salad looked OK if not a bit generic. The server was very professional and got the little things right. The new location is more modern looking than the old place, but you know that you're not in the city when you're there. A decent option if you want to avoid Dix/30 or the island of Montreal.

The ribs and the fried onions were the only things worth eating, the rest was a poor excuse to charge money. The “filet mignon” burger tasted awful. Poor service. I do not recommend and will not go back.
