I booked a package that included a room (lake view) and supper at Bistro Champlain. We arrived there early at 13h00 and were told that the room was not ready and that check in is only at 16h00. Which I understood, however, no effort was made to get the room ready earlier and we only checked in at 16h00. Then when we checked in, I asked that they make our supper reservations for 19h30, and was told that the restaurant is fully booked.....which did not make sense to me....how can they sell a package that includes a room and restaurant and not have space for our resevation? After contemplating cancelling the whole thing, the desk clerk spoke to the manager and they finally found us a table, but for 21h00. They told me that I had to reserve earlier....but I stand by the fact that if you offer a package that includes a supper, that they should make sure there is a table available for you. So I was very disappointed. At the prices they charge, their service should be exceptional.....and it was mediocre to poor at best.

I'm not really impressed with this resort to be honest. The experience i had with them was really not good and the customer services was very poor. Original i had bought a promotion for my girlfriend at the time for her birthday and i was very excited to surprise her. Value of 229 but with the taxes and stuff came up to like 276.52 dollars. I had called in to the resort to ask if it was refundable before purchasing it to double check because i wanted to cancel encase the day was booked and they said that it was 100% refundable. So i had purchased. Then what happened is my girlfriend at the time broke up with me so i had no need for it anymore at that point the package was for the 2 of us and i was a little heartbroken at the time so i just wanted to get refunded and be done with it. But then when i called in this woman i spoke to was very rude. She was not understanding at all and disrespectful when i was trying to be nothing but polite with her. I explained the situation that my girlfriend broke up with me and to be a little more compassionate about it. Her response was I'm sorry but that's really not our problem. When i had told he someone from there told me it was refundable she then told me that i was a liar and that she would bring her manager to speak to me about it if i wanted. All in all i would have come there eventually but now that I'm out 276.52 for something that i didn't even use and will now not use because i have no need for it anymore because my girlfriend broke up with me. it was very disheartening to be honest and i would not recommended this place to people only due to there customer service and that they lied to me just to get a promotional deal which i found unfair :(

Beautiful resort. I had a beautiful suite facing the lake. Fabulous room with impressive amenities. Everything was clean, and the room was made to relax you. Impeccable service from the employees throughout, from the front desk to the restaurant. Excellent food at the restaurant, both for supper and for breakfast. I did not have a chance to use any of the SPA services, but others in my group did and were very pleased.

Our 4th visit, we always enjoy our stay. It a great place to relax and unwind, even take in a nice message. The restaurant within this place has an amazing wine selection. If you're a cylcist, this is a great area to ride with plenty of rolling hills.

We walked in the first night to a very dimly lit reception area, with red ambiance lighting. Loved it. The rooms were large and full of amenities. I loved the fire place and the personal got tub outside our door. There are spa services and a bar and two restaurants. The food was wonderful. They offer loads of activities and different spa pools and saunas.
