The restaurant recently reopened after a fire at a new location in Quebec on Rue Saint-Louis. Really happy I noticed them while walking, as I was disappointed when I heard from reviews here they had closed. The food was delicious—I ordered the Walleye from the lunch menu. The sauce paired so well with everything on the plate. We got three different types of bread as well, all very good (the one with dates especially). Even though there were picky eaters in our party, they were also satisfied. The service was excellent, they accommodated our English language needs with such patience. A great experience!

In the evening on July 11, 2019 we visited the Sagamité restaurant located in the old Quebec City (Rue Saint Louis). We came encouraged by the positive reviews of this restaurant. The interior design is well done and unique. However, our hope for a good meal and service did not last long. It was the worst experience during our few days stay in the Quebec City. The food was horrible and service not much better. The bread was not brought to our table as an initial starter. My wife's order was not completed, she didn’t received the ordered soup. My plate with steak arrived cold. We ordered steak for our daughter and it was not eatable. We exchanged later for a dish with fish and wasn’t good too. The waitress did not care about our table too much. I waited over 10 minutes for my payment card to be collected. The waitress at that time was walking around the room ...Again I asked her to take the bill, another 5 minutes passed. When I asked why so many things went wrong, she expressed surprise ...The mystery is whether this approach to the customer is the norm in this restaurant or responsibility lies with incompetent people in the kitchen as well as in the service. By signing the bill, I made it clear that we can not add a tip for such poor service and poorly prepared food. The waitress showed her bad side even more. Very disappointed by visiting this place.

Excellent. I am visiting family here in Quebec and they took me to this restaurant which is one of their favorite. Easy parking, plenty of room. The place looks amazing decorated with native items. Service was great, the lady who assisted us was very kind since we had two kids in our group , she heard we were talking in Spanish, in English and she replied to us using a bit of the languages, very nice. Good was amazing. This is a must place to visit.

My wife, friends , and I have been staying nearby for a week, and eating here for several breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The place is nicely designed, with good, and timely service. The food is well thought out with tastes of Native Premiere Nation fusion, including bison, elk, walleye, venison, and more. We love their salads, whether a mixed green or Ceaser, their game dishes are done in interesting and delicious ways. Good wine selections...desserts. All for quite reasonable prices. Easy parking in their lot. We will continue to eat there for our trip to this intriguing area.
