I came here for dinner with friends. The restaurant is definitely cozy and warm on a cold winter evening. I ordered a vegetarian option which was the Cajun garlic linguine. The waiter assured me it wasn't spicy but it was in fact a little spicy but it was very good. I don't think I would order it again but the pasta was fresh and delicious. Overall the service was great.

I wanted to point out that the server we had was exceptional. I do not remember his name but, by far, the best part of the evening. The issues were the food. And, been visiting the restaurant once or twice a year for 10+ years - the decline is continuing. Sorry. Food: hush puppies very dry - nice BBQ sauce with served with them, very needed. Jumbalaya - very dry and bland chicken, rest was very average. Prosciutto wrapped cod (special of the day) - just ok, nothing special. No issues with the alcohol menu, great selections. What I loved about La Louisiane was I felt that I was somewhere else, the food had great flavour, was unique...With growing competition, they have failed to live up to past experiences...

Friendly service in a low-key atmosphere offering savoury dishes brought to your table still steaming and with plenty of bite-those who are spice intolerant beware. A must is the cajun combo; seared shrimps, chicken and sausages done 3 ways, respectively. I also enjoy the coconut beer battered shrimp as an appetizer. Drinks are also super tasty. Never been disappointed eating here, yet.

Came here for the first time last night and I have mixed feelings. The service was exceptional. Our waiter wiped down our table between courses, kept refilling our water bottle, and was attentive and available. The restaurant itself is beautiful. We felt the music got louder as the evening went on and it got hard to have a conversation, and both we and people at another table asked to have it turned down twice... the manager did turn down the music a bit but not enough. The food was good but not great. The beer battered coconut shrimp with the spicy dipping sauce we great. The mains we got were just ok. My husband got a full rack of pork ribs, which were really fatty. But the fries on the sides were delicious. I got the jimbalaya and was not a fan. The tomato sauce on the side was too sweet and overpowering and I don't think they got the spice balance right. Overall the service was so good I'd be willing to give this place another shot, but it is a bit pricey... One appetizer and two mains, no drinks, our bill came out to $70 without the tip.
