It is a very nice setting with wonderful staff and service. However, the dishes were less than average. The basic techiniques shown by the chefs were not up to scratch. The intestines of the 3 prawns (@24$) were not removed. The seasoning was unfortunately not on point either. No bread was offered, or on the menu to order as an extra, which is more than shocking for an Italian inspired bistro/restaurant. However, the staff were very accommodating and found a bread supplement for us, this attention was much appreciated. The food was not bad, but it was not good. The service and the staff were exceptional though, this saved the experience. The restaurant is new, and maybe with a little time and experience it will improve. We hope.

Helena restaurant gets a 5* from me. Just loved loved everything there . We had oysters/champagne as an entry. The oysters had a bit of residue from the opening, otherwise fresh. Tasting/wine pairing menu: tapas/fish/meat/dessert . The backroom sitting area is just beautiful, fresh flowers on the tables, the food is amazing , great service offered by knowledgeable staff. Can't wait to go back!

I really liked this place. I had read the reviews before coming. To my pleasant surprise the waiter offered us a choice between a 55, 65 and 75 dollar menu. I ended up getting the 65 dollar menu which was great, there were 4 tapas dishes, a half portion of fish and dessert included. The food they brought out was just so delicious and there was so much variety, even on one plate. The service was also surprisingly fast.
