Was good. Been there a few times. Good food, good service and reasonably priced. Good place to bring friends and family. They have good meat and fish selection. Good menu list

Fantastic portions, low price and a great friendly service. Interesting cocktails and a non-rushed pleasurable dining experience. I ordered the steak-frites and don't have a single complaint. My drinks were good and the wait staff goes out of their way to make your experience better. The place is nice and cozy and suitable for dates, families and anyone looking to grab a great meal with some friends. Very recommended.

The Meritas 5-course meal special is definitely generous and abundant. You receive a choice of soup, followed by a choice of appetizers, a plate of salad, an entree served with a choice of baked, mashed potatoes or fries and a side of vegetables. On top of all that you're served a choice of desserts and a cup of coffee or tea. It's a very generous meal for a very modest price. $79 with a bottle of wine or $59 without. However the quality of the meal could be better. The soup was delicious but my choice of fondue parmesan as an appetizer left a lot to desire. It was over-cooked, nearly burnt, and came with a pitiful leaf of wilted lettuce and two cherry tomatoes. The salad that accompanied the appetizer was very uninspired. It offered Iceberg lettuce, a bit of red cabbage and s scarce portion of bacon bits. The au jus rib roast I was served was the right degree of doneness but lacked flavor and seasoning. I was glad I had some horseradish to eat with it. My baked potatoe would have been more tasty if it had been seasoned a bit. Overall I would say that my meal was acceptable but uninspired. I'm disappointed because in the past the food I've eaten at Le Rascal was much tastier. Sadly it was my husband's birthday dinner, which makes it even more disappointing!!

Monday night was pretty calm, service was a bit subpar and rude at first but got ok. The new York steak 16oz was awesome, but fries were lacking a bit of cooking. Gf liked her filet minion and lobster tail. The place is a little expensive for what it is. It's a good steakhouse place, but for the price I have better places in mind.
