Took my wife here for lunch on our first day in Quebec City. We didn’t have reservations but the hostess was nice enough to tell us to come back in 5-10 minutes and she’d hold the next table. The surrounded neighborhood is picturesque. This was an excellent introduction for us into the food scene here. I never had rabbit before but that seems to be their signature and it didn’t disappoint. I would recommend it to anyone.

Being a tourist in a city like Quebec, it's fun to try something new that you likely wont find elsewhere. Le Lapin Sauté provided that. Having never eaten rabbit before, we were eagar to try something new. The food was excellent and I found a new appreciation for a completely new food. On top of that, the staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.

Quaint place. Not a huge selection of either food or wine, but what they do have is exceptional. My wife and I had exactly the same things: French Onion soups, pulled pork burgers and creme brulee. $64.00 CAD / $49.00 US. Our server (most certainly not "Laurence" as the bill had as her name) was very competent.

I did not have a high expectation for this place since all the tourists go here so I only went for some snacks after having my lunch. I was wrong. The food is extremely delicious. I really wish I had time to go back for more because everything else they were serving to other tables looked amazing. I will definitely go back next time I am in Quebec City.

Good place with very nice ambiance. The food is good, though the shared platter (Quebec Discovery) was NOT a main course. The salmon portion on the platter was ridiculously small. Great service and very well located.
