Welcome to old Fort city Quebec, most places inside the Fort walls are out to charge you as much as they can get out of you, trading the charm of old city cobblestone streets and stone buildings. Mikes is a chain Italian restaurant, but the prices are very reasonable, I dare not say cheap, but compared to everything else around, you can get a warm Italian meal that fills you and drinks for two and still be under $40. The small tapas plate and 2 drinks across the street are about $60, trust me I know, made that mistake. Mikes is open late for food another big plus, and the staff speak English if you need it.

My friend and I ordered takeout from Mikes on a Friday night. The food was so so. Your standard junk food (bland + fatty). We were out for the whole day and reached back to our hotel at night so had to order takeout. The girl who took our orders on the phone didn't tell us our correct final price. The delivery man asked for more money than what she told us. She was not clear about the delivery fee, tax etc when we asked her about it on the phone. On Saturday night I called in again for delivery and she said they don't deliver to our address but we had just ordered a delivery last night. I told her about our previous delivery and then she put me on hold for like 10 minutes. We hung up. Called in again to ask for our order and she said sorry we don't deliver at this time and hung up. This place closes 1am and someone was answering the phone. Why would you answer the phone if you aren't taking orders? right! Very unprofessional and rude customer service. Please be more respectful to the people that are supporting this business. Luckily there was St. Hubert and other takeout joints open with great service and no sneaky extra fees. Will not recommend this place to friends and family. Terrible 👎

A casual place, good service, the food was alright.

Mikes is OK place to go for breakfast, as long as you not in rush and mediocre food is fine for you. You can be waiting for a while for your food at Sundays, i think sometimes they are understaffed. But staff are very friendly and speak French and English. Quality of food is just ok, but I expected more. I ordered frying pan.

This is the only restaurant open after 11pm in Quebec city!!! Amazing service and staff. Fresh food at a late hour is great and so hard to find around here.
