Food is excellent and the ambiance is great. The menu is only up on a chalk board thus I assume it changes often. The place is also less noisy than other locations in the area thus you are able to talk. It is very small so make sure to reserve and the prices are definitely reasonable for what you get. The servings were actually larger than we expected, don't expect those very small servings that you often get at high end places. A great mix of taste, presentation, atmosphere, serving all without the high prices.

Authentic setup, nice service and outstanding food. We have been going there for over 10 years and we were never disappointed. The portions are big, menu is diverse although small and always changing yet consistent in quality. If you're looking for great authentic Italian place Lucca is the place to go!

We’ve been coming to Lucca’s for years now and I must say when stepping out with my hubby or entertaining friends from out of town, it’s always a hit. We always have a great time, especially when the staff is engaged and entertaining. The food is consistent, delicious and always changing... how can you not love seasonal menus. I used Lucca as my first review as I really feel they deserve the credit for an off the beaten path, local and traditional Italian restaurant. You want genuine Italian cuisine and wine, this is your place, I promise it won’t dissapoint.

Best spot in little Italy! Service is on point and market menu is always delicious. Would recommend to everyone.

Everytime I travel to Montreal I make every effort to visit Lucca. They have a seasonal menu on the blackboard with something new and delicious to try. They will also make every effort to cook a favorite if it’s not on the menu. Anthony the owner and the staff are a riot, engaging and a pile of fun and a major reason we come back time and time again. I plan work dinners here when possible and suggest it to friends and family who travel or who live in Montreal. Not once, have any of them been disappointed and it is reassuring as I am picky on restaurants and consider this a Montreal staple. Ask their sommelier to suggest a wine that you can’t find anywhere than Italy, you won’t be disappointed. Quality of food and ingredients make this place super reasonably priced and competitive for a trendy and delicious Montreal restaurant.
