This is a cool place! I think it is the oldest remaining building in Quebec City! This is more of a formal restaurant and the prices are steep but the food did not disappoint. I had probably the best salmon I have ever had here! The place is cozy and the waiter was nice! Overall a great place to go for dinner if in Quebec City.

Highly recommend this restaurant if you wanna try Quebec cuisine! All staffs working here were friendly and nice. Inside was quiet even though there were lots of guests, so you can enjoy chatting with your friends with comfort. Price starts from $19.95 including a glass of wine or beer, appetizer, main and dessert. So it’s not that expensive as well. You should try!

The experience at this restaurant was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere transports through time with the architecture from 1667 and 1800s. The service was exceptional considering we have many questions and our server was able to answer all our questions. Lastly, the food was flavorful and delicious. We came for a snack and ended up having a 3 course meal with a drink and tea. The whole experience was wonderful and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the historical culture.

Very warm and rustic atmosphere. The food was very good with a wide selection of combinations. We were there during Carnaval and they had a deal where for $20 you could have a starter, an entree, a desert, and a beer or house wine. I had the wild meat pate and Quebec meat pie and was very satisfied. Only beer options are light and dark. I got the dark and it paired nicely with the meal. Our waitress was very friendly and personable.

The Prix Fix lunch menu was amazing. Some things are an up charge, like the salad, but it was so worth it! The Québec meat pie had the most delicate and flaky crust and the meat mixture literally melts in your mouth. The lunch offering also comes with dessert and the maple pie was legitimately the best pie I’ve ever had! It wasn’t overly sweet and the texture was divine. The light beer I chose was also great, and My mom liked the red wine she chose. Definitely stop by for the great service and living history of this place.
