Very good food and friendly service! We went there for Montreal A Table, so had a special brunch menu. The food was very good, and tasty. Don’t expect a humongous portion, but the price is well worth the quality of the food! The server was incredibly nice! I clumsily spilled my smoothie all over the floor, and he was very nice about it! Totally recommend!!

Great Sunday brunch experience. Live DJ kept the music fun and lively. The portions were well sized. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The all-you-can-drink mimosa special was a highlight. They also did a great job of making my partners birthday a memorable event!

I went there twice . Once for lunch on terrace in the summer- it was absolutely amazing . The view is spectacular and the atmosphere is nice. The staff is attentive and always there when you need them. You get a beautiful view on the Montreal. We also went there for dinner. The menu was great - to everyone's choice. They had meat, fish , vegetarian options ( salads). Their salmon tartar is great ! Highly recommend. They change their menus from time to time - so you can be easily surprised with a new dish , here and there. The only unpleasant surprise that I had was a mandatory 20% tip in the evening... I didn't not expect that, i thought tip is based on performance rather than time of the day. Other than that - loved the place!

Went with a friend during happening gourmand. Service was pleasant and the food was enjoyable. The cocktails was great and the pan seared cod I had was quite moist and flavorful. A bottle of Sparkling mineral water is expensive, so make it clear to your server if you don't want it. Just say give me "Tap water or Flat water" . The decor inside is very chic it's the kind of place ideal for a romantic date. Bathroom was quite stylish as well.

Just had my baby shower here. The food, ambiance, DJ, and service was incredible. We had a semi-private section with attention to detail service from Julien. I highly recommend this venue for your special events. Thank you Brasserie 701 for making this a very special day for me and my guests!
