2 front doors but only one works. That is how this started. Sat down and got a menu. On the first page was a typed insert telling you that the prices within are increased by $1 to $5 per item. It goes on to say the menu is 10 years old....?? Asked for drinks, we chose Kingfisher beer. Server came back and said they didn't have any. So we asked for the Cheetah beer and he said they don't carry that anymore. Food, we came to realize the menu I had was different than the menu my Wife had. We ordered the Sultana dinner for 2 off my menu only to be told it is wrong and does not have the items listed. Should be using the menu my Wife has....less items, higher price. We go the food and it was, at best OK. I did find the butter chicken overly sweet. The palao rice was very bland. Service was slow. To the people that said that this was the best Indian food they had eaten, clearly they have not eaten at any other restaurant because it is not very good. Will we go back? No. Will we recommend it? no. There are other and much better Indian restaurants in our area.

Delicious food! We love the samosas, lamb curry and mulligatawny soup! Garlic Naan is awesome and butter chicken! Especially like the mushroom dish! Have not been disappointed! Also great service!

Food is great and the owner is very welcoming and passionate about his food. Nice to see a family working so well together. It's a shame I can only give it 2 stars but when the dining area is this dirty it really makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. I'll go back when they clean up. I wish Ottawa had the same inspection standards as Toronto where cleanliness is rated and posted on the outside of restaurants. Far from perfect, I know. But at least it keeps restauranteurs vigilant.

The very best Indian you will ever have. Always freshly made to order.

Food was okay. It's a very westernized version of Indian food in my opinion with every dish we ordered being very very sweet. I eat curry almost every week or more and have gone to many other places and nowhere else has had this problem so I assume it's just how they have decided to make their recipes. In all it wasn't bad but I wouldn't go back. If you're looking for a good Indian restaurant I'd recommend Host India. I come from a family where we eat curry very often and we all love it. Hope this helped you.
