Thien is always good, lots of seating available. Staff are friendly attentive and busy! They can commonly be seen running around to get all the tables served. Food is always hot quick ans fresh with excellent prices and quality ingredients.

I was a fan of the place before. We have made countless takeouts such as items 106 and 131. But now the qty has probably halved. The take out box now feels much lighter and food barely feeds 1.5 people. I wish they brought the quantity of takeouts to before. The black rectangular take out box would be full before, now a $12 Ginger chicken take out barely touched the half way mark even with more vegetables as fillers. Infact, if you order and eat there, the quantity is more. Take outs cost less to the restaurant, why would you lower quantity on that? To the owner, i would like to say, if you want to charge same prices as competition, please provide same quantity. Jasmine restaurant is a good example to compare

I’ve eaten take out or delivered food from Thien Vietnam a few times when friends or family have suggested it, but I have consistently been disappointed. The food was greasy, bland and seemed very thrown together. I’d recommend that you get yourself a meal from one of the other great restaurants in Saskatoon. We each only get to eat a certain number of meals in our lifetime, so those calories should feel like they were worth it. The next time a friend suggests Thien Vietnam, I’ll make a stronger case that we eat somewhere else.

I received Nearly RAW spring rolls. I have been ordering there food for almost 10 years and I know what they should look and taste like. The ones I got were absolutely disgusting. Soggy and completely undercooked and dripping grease. I called and at first asked if they could bring me new ones. They refused!!! To return them and demanded I bring the old ones back in and then they would decide for themselves If they were raw or not and if they would give me new ones. But I was at work and wouldn’t be able to go there. They gave me the run around and said they would called me back. Or maybe there boss would call me but not tonight because “he is a busy man”. This was some of the worst service I have ever gotten and I will never get from them again. What kind of food establishment services raw food and then doesn’t do anything to right there wrongs. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere that cares about the quality of food they put out.

Quality of food is great! The prices were decently prices and a good spot for a date or family gatherings. Have been a returning customer for years. Only recommendation would be to have the waiters and waitresses be more aware of the customers in regards to making their order or refilling waters. Other than that, great place!
