Wow! This place was amazing. Our meal was filled with the absolute best of the best each course. The wait staff was impeccable, the vibe was right and the steak was one of the best I've ever have. I mean better than several of the top steak houses in Seattle, yes those ones. We started with the crab mac n cheese. To die for! Full of crab! My husband and both had the special. Char grilled 14 oz rib eye with blue cheese and garlic butter, Yukon mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. I mean melt in your mouth! Every bite we were exclaiming how incredible it was. We ended with vanilla bean flan. Holy smokes. Can we come back tomorrow!?

Our third trip to The Depot and we love it! The food is always outstanding and the wait-staff and Chef go out of their way to make your dining experience memorable! Definitely a must stop on your next trip to Long Beach!!

Food is very good, chef is very accommodating to allergies with gluten free options (HE gets 5 stars), but the service isn't that great and it's extremely expensive. The cheap decor /atmosphere and music is awful, needs serious updating /changed. I've visited there many times over 8 years. Used to be better in years past regarding service. Lamb and duck dishes are memorable and very very good. I'll probably get orders to-go in the future if I return.

Great food, excellent service Very expensive so plan accordingly. The Depot has the best calamari I have ever eaten, worth every cent! The clam chowder is exceptional, but pricey $10 for a small bowl, so in my opinion over priced. The food is delicious, so if you don't mind spending the money defiantly visit the depot at least once! Do keep in mind however, the owner is also the chef and he prepares items the way he likes. (IE charbroiled steak, too much charbroil overtook the whole flavor)

We had dinner in this cute and friendly restaurant. Steak was cooked exactly as we ordered it. Fresh veggies and smashed potatoes rounded out the meal. Our wine was excellent and the finale was a perfect flan. Can't ask for anything more.
