The food and service is top notch. We were accommodated by the hostess right away. It was a Sunday evening and the place was packed. We ended up eating at the bar and though they were slammed everything was great. The dip with chips was insanely good. The bartender who took our orders was attentive and gave us great service all night though being crazy busy. Very busy for a reason. Great food and service and pricey but they earn it. Thanks guys great experience.

Bandera has the best ribeye steak I’ve ever had peroid. My friend recommended we try it. I’m glad I did. Although it is quite expensive considering I can cook a great steak for half price. But it was still well worth the experience. I would recommend Bandera if your looking for a amazing steak.

My favorite restaurant in Sacramento. Great staff, constantly good food quality. My favorites are the rib-eye, prime rib, filet Mignon, and prime rib dip. Great selection of red wines, my favorite being the Mi Sueno.

We love the appetizers here! Their main dishes are overpriced tho! Love the environment.

Bandera in Spanish means flag. The restaurant is located in Fair Oaks in the beautiful plaza. And this restaurant only opens for dinner. Around 4.45pm, this place was extremely busy and they had wait time of 1.50 hour. I don’t know if the wait time like this is usual or high demand due to Valentine’s Day weekend. I ordered the Pan-seared Ahi Tuna which had mixed greens, avocado, and mango with honey-lime vinaigrette. For the price of $29, I expected delicious tuna. This tuna left me flabbergasted since it was a little chewy and it did not taste fresh. As per my husband, the tuna quality was not great. And my mixed greens tasted like Costco’s kale salad. I was pretty sure; the kale salad was from Costco. I could be wrong but who knows. My husband ordered the Hawaiian rib eye steak. He’s rib eye was marinated with pineapple soy ginger, broccoli and mash potatoes. He loved the rib eye but expected a little more on the side dishes. Desserts- I was not impressed with their two dessert choices. But I have read yelp reviews that it tastes delicious. I wish they had a little more selection on the entrees. And I noticed few people mentioned about the corn bread on yelp. Unfortunately, I forget to try. And the margaritas are great here. The restaurant roasts their chicken on the premises. On your way to the restroom, you can notice the roasters. This restaurant is not kid friendly. I did read online they don’t have high chairs and you need to bring your own. Ouch, if you plan to take kids then think twice. This place is ultimately a great romantic place to celebrate special event. The cost of the dinner is up a notch high but it’s worth for special event. And the service was incredible at the restaurant.
