Very comfortable and attractive room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A surprising treat to find on the Alaskan highway. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and it is a delightful stay for the price, which was reasonable. Conveniently located next to the Chinese restaurant.

This business owner has been on the receiving end of too much negative and biased media. This is the ONLY hotel in this town with attached restaurant, liquor, off-sales, a grocery store and decent rooms. This owner provides much needed competition as much of this town is owned by very profit driven people. He raises his rates for hockey tournaments and such and even shuts down now because year after year the local hockey parents DESTROY their hotel rooms in every hotel and NOT because he was trying to profiteer. Next time you are passing through Watson lake and wondering how in god's name everything is so expensive here, perhaps try supporting business like this that are independently owned and constantly trying to bring value to its customers. This is not a paid or requested promotion, I'm just someone who knows the area very well and is blown away at how this business owner has been misrepresented in the media. This hotel has the most facilities in town hands down and the food at the restaurant is delicious. The internet is capped at 1gig but the other hotel has RIDICULOUSLY slow internet and you will swear at your device all night... so no big downloads but that is thanks to rural service availability and limitations

This place was great! I was worried after reading the reviews, but the room was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful! It's the only pet friendly hotel in town. The restaurant was fairly priced and quick and the food was delicious! Overall this place is an awesome place to stay with your family

We stayed at this hotel for the night because we’ve been driving for hours. Basically, only place that was really open and “pet friendly”. Staff was barely nice and we had to walk upstairs which is fine if we didn’t have animals and luggage’s to haul up those stairs. The room was alright though there was a big hole in. The wall where the ac hookup was suppose to be. We took pictures of all the damages just in case. Not only that the walls are so paper thin you are hear everything. Kids yelling, babies crying, parent swearing and screaming, dogs barking, people running up and down the hall and etc. It sounded like they were literally blocked off by paper. That’s how loud it was. Water came out brown when you put it to hot. Took several minutes to get clear. Only reason it’s a two star is because it allowed my pets.

Stayed here for a night while driving through Canada from Alaska. Good staff and very helpful to travelers. There is a laundry facility, a restaurant, and grocery store attached to the building. Would recommend for any travelers leaving Alaska or heading to Alaska (or any stops in between) along the AlCan highway.
