This was a very nostalgic place for my dad. He grew up going here and then moved away in his mid20's, and hadn't been back until this past December. He was so excited to show it off to his family and get back with his brother and cousins and enjoy some pizza. Fortunately, the reputation lived up to his standard and a good time was had by all. The food and service was all excellent as well.

Chicken pesto pizza was freaking amazing. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. Our first time there yesterday and we will definitely be back soon. Best pizza I've had in a while

I can't give a review of this location yet. BUT, I was an original employee of the store here in Huntsville on University Dr. in 1981-82 ish. Terry & Jeff were the assistants. Been too long to remember their last names or the owner who I do remember. I will say that if Mater's makes the same pizza the way it was done then. You will NEVER get a better pizza anywhere !!! I hope to get down there soon to reminisce a little more.

A simply unbelievable pizza place. Great deep dish style pizza's. Fantastic appetizers. The management is great . The wait staff is always friendly and helpful. I love visiting this place as often as my belly will allow me to. I hope to experience their wonderful pizza's again very soon. Also don't forget to try there Fried Mushrooms. They are always great.

Best pizza in Gadsden, by far. To get it hot from the oven, you have to endure an odd dinning set up because the location is cobbled together from several different buildings and shops. Needs a remodel. But for hole in the wall location, pizza and pasta was great. As close to Chicago style that you will find in Gadsden.
