Went there for the second time yesterday. Horrible first experience back in December but thought we would give them one more try. This trip was even worse. Slow service (took 1 hr 30 min) to get our food. When I asked before we got our food they told me it was because they were so busy.........the place was empty. When we got our food it was terrible (ordered a taco salad). Next time we would be better off going to Taco Bell!!! It was also way overpriced. Also the salsa on the table was nothing more than ground up tomatoes. Had to give it one star.....because you can't give less than one. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!

We ate the buffet, which was full of odd foods like egg rolls, chicken nuggets, and cheese sticks, none of your favorite items that are generally on a Mexican buffet. We had to ask for chips and salsa, which taste like diced tomatoes. Didn't even go back for seconds, and over priced for lunch.

Have been dining at this restaurant for years and have always had great service and delicious food - would highly recommend....

Tamales are exceptional! The bar offers delicious cocktails and other drinks. Servers are quick and attentive. The horchata is not made homemade, my only complaint.

We never have complaints of food or service here, ever. Previous reviewer says go on down the interstate and smile... you'll miss the hospitality of Decatur, AL and delicious Mexican food too. Nothing fancy but certainly delicious and filling. They have best sweet tea! The waiter never just serves us and leaves, we get refills and they ask often enough if our food is satisfactory yet not enough to be annoying. I enjoy the wait staff not "working for a tip" and outrageously flirting inappropriately.
