Food at the RailYard is consistently good, with great flavor combinations in everything on the menu - great salads (and soups, when I've had them), sandwiches, burgers, and entrees, all of which are subject to seasonal change although there's a few items that have stayed on the menu the whole time. Burgers look pricey to someone more in tune with fast food offerings but they are excellent! My go-to burger is the Baja with a black bean patty; my friend usually goes for the Wharf. Kitchen backs up a bit during peak times and it gets a bit noisy but the food is worth the wait. Interesting on-tap selections as well which also change from time to time, so keep coming back! One of the best, if not THE best, restaurants in Decatur in my opinion.

Solo visit while in town. I had heard googood things so I decided to check it out. They have an excellent selection of craft beet. I tried their brand of chips and cheese dip. The dip was a little thicker than I prefer but the taste was spot on. Friendly service. Well worth the time and drive

Blackened grouper is fantastic. I'd do something different with the potatoes, but it's still a really, really good dinner. Definitely worth visiting. Great beer selection. Staff is great. Well done, Railyard.

The perfect small town, family friendly place. Menu selection is excellent, and staff is wonderful. They hosted a rehearsal for my family, very hard people to please....and they crushed it.

When I travel of business I scour Yelp for a local place to try. The reviews for The RailYard did not mislead. I had the chicken pot pie lasagna and while it wasn't served inside a flaky crust there was a delicious pot pie 'cover' on top. The mushrooms stew is a unique take on mushroom soup with a variety of mushrooms in a vegetable based stock. Their selection of craft beer was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant seems to be a family affair, there were young kids behind the counter which didn't seem all that safe but I have no idea if it's a regular occurance. I highly recommend The RailYard if you're looking for delicious food in a casual, trendy atmosphere.
