The food is good. They are short of staff. You have to pay for your food before you're seated. I included the tip in my payment. No one ever came to wait on us. The drinks are self-serve so I could have kept my money and tipped myself. Also, I ordered an appetizer. After waiting on it to come out, someone came over to tell us that they had run out. They replaced it with an appetizer that cost less than what I was paid for. I wasn't reimbursed.

On of the best Italian restaurant's in the Birmingham areas. Walter is an amazing chef. He brings a little bit of Sicily to Alabama. I will continue to recommend Nino's to anyone who is looking for Italian food. Keep up the good work Nino's!!!!

I don't really get the hype. The service is good but the food is kind of average. Been three times and never felt like it lived up to what others are saying.

Very good pizza, casual comfortable atmosphere, and friendly staff. Orders taken upon arrival, much like a sandwich shop or fast food restaurant. Be prepared to study the menu ahead of time so as not to hold up customers behind you. Especially if you are an indecisive diner. Once the order is placed and paid for, someone will deliver it to your table quickly and with a smile. We were unsure of who, when, or how to leave our tip.
