This delightful discovery in Birmingham Alabama was well worth the trip. The brisket was tender and very flavorful with a really nice serving size. The staff on site were very pleasant and helpful to us in deciding what we needed to try. The restaurant itself was cozy with comfortable seating and clean. This is a restaurant that I will visit again at the earliest opportunity.

A touch pricey, but definitely worth it. Good brisket, which can be difficult to find in this area. Delicious tender chicken with the crispy skin. They sauce before they bring it, so be sure to specify any preferences before hand. House sauce is great with a smoky/sweet tangy flavor, and they keep the bottles for the table in a pan of hot water so the sauce is hot. Good white sauce for chicken. Beans were fine, but pretty sweet for my taste. Surprisingly good collard greens. Nugget ice available.

Good food, but, the prices are too high. No plates, they serve your food on tray with a piece of wax paper. For the price they charge for food, I would expect at least a sturdy paper plate. Also, their "small" drink is extremely small, which is too small to go with a meal. I do enjoy the food, but each time I go, I tell myself I am not going back because I paid an arm and a leg to eat there.

The food was good for what I've eaten which was Chicken, Fried Green Tomatoes, Brisket and corn on the cob. To drink I had water and sweet tea. I give you the 8 out of 10.

Abdolutely delicious! The brisket was tender and juicy and the staff was very nice. Did not have to wait long for our meal either!
