Wow. What a serious disappointment. Wife and I went there on the evening of 5/5/2018 for her birthday. We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation near the front of the restaurant next to a big group who were very loud. This group in addition to the music playing over the speakers made the ambient noise level near unbearable. We ordered the Spanish Charred Octopus, and I realize octopus can be hard to cook and if done incorrectly it would be like eating an inner tube, well that was how this octopus was....an inner tube. I had the seared diver scallops and the first one I bit into was also very chewy...a sign that the scallop had been cooked too long. The other four scallops were fine. Wife had the beef short ribs and they were fine and in fact tasted like a pot roast. We had heard rave reviews about Cotton Row and having experienced it ourselves we are totally undecided about returning. Hopefully Huntsville gets more upscale dining establishments as competition is a great thing to drive better dining experiences.

I had the tuna appetizer which was excellent served on a slightly spicy cabbage bed, followed by possibly the best fried green tomatoes I've had since I was a kid in Tennessee. My entree was elk prepared medium as I've been afraid to go more rare because of a recent bad experience elsewhere. It was still delicious but next time I'll go with the chefs recommendation of medium rare. My date had the octopus and veal chop and said it was delicious as well. This is one of our favorite places, whether a special occasion like birthday or anniversary, or entertaining clients. The staff is very friendly and professional and we appreciate the valet parking.

We had a nice experience. Private dining, flawless service, and good food. Only complaint would be that my scallops were not warm. The steaks were perfect and all of the appetizers were very good.

Fabulous! From the cocktail menu to the dessert! Michelle was the waitress and was outstanding. Michelle knew her menus and easily made perfect recommendations! The chef went out of the way to provide gluten free bread and preparing our food to be sharable with the person in our party that has gluten allergies! One of my absolute favorite places to dine!

eh. A few years ago it was the best place in town. Now it seems their quality of food/drink has gone down. Their service is still top notch, but the other upscale places in town have very much past them in quality of drinks and food.
