I absolutely love love LOVE Cracker Barrel! No matter where I go when traveling I always stop at one. The food is great, especially if you love southern home cooking like I do. I always get the chicken and dumplings because I can't help myself. They're so good!!!! They have great breakfast as well. Lots of varieties on what you can get. Plus on top of that you can play checkers with friends or anyone really. Go rock in their rocking chairs on the front porch of the building before and/or after dinner. You can always go shop in the store after eating or before as well. They have lots of awesome things to look at and shop for. Great gift ideas and souvenirs to take home. Varieties such as; clothes, candy, toys for children, home decor, outdoor decor, drinkwear, and lots of other things. Definitely go check it out.

We ended up walking out. We arrived to a long line by the hostess, par for the course for cracker barrel. The hostess seemed flustered and was running to sit guests and make menus. After a 15 minute wait for her to look up and acknowledge us, after another customer told her we weren't on the waiting list yet, she told us 15 minutes. We were seated in 20, and then the frustrating part began. My wife, two kids, and I sat for another 15 minutes without so much as a, "I'll be right with you" from any of the three waitresses working the area. To exacerbate the issue, the place was half empty it wasn't like it was the Sunday church rush. As we started looking around for anyone willing to acknowledge us; we noticed a couple behind us being sat after us, drinks and biscuits delivered, and food delivered. After that, 3 employees cleaned and rearranged tables for a large party, sat them, and they had drinks and biscuits. At this time my wife and I decided to leave. No one tried to stop is, ask us how they could help, nothing. Just like their service... Nothing. I was actually intrigued as they had new menu items that looked good. Will have to try the location off of the parkway. Will come back after a few months and see if they have better service.

Love their food, BUT...today my wife was served a COLD chicken pot pie and I was served a COLD baked potato with my steak (which was fine). Trouble in the kitchen here. I understand these items are made up in advance But come on now.... don’t they have a microwave? Of course they do and somebody should be fired for not using it. Management did not even offer me a discount (they could have avoided this review)..... my wonderful server got full 20% .... kitchen management at this location is not good.

It's commercial southern cooking. Stuck to your rubs bf lunch and dinner. Great selection of food. A fun store to look though. Coffee is weak. But food makes up for it. And price is very affordable.

I think the food quality has been going do over the past few years. The food has lost its down home cooking flavors and now taste more commercial with too many added chemicals. I still love the store and all the cool stuff they have. Always brings back memories from my childhood. Just make the food fresh and taste good again.
