Love the food at this place. Especially the fried chicken. But today, I ordered and received, a container of the chow chow, large size, to go. My ticket, taken to cashier, said was $8.99. Once I got home and looked at ticket, it was $9.99. Price charged and size of container was very disappointing, although I do love the stuff. Won't order it again. Also ordered a piece of coconut pie. It looked like a sloppy mess in the container . I love Martin's, but today was a bit of a disappointment .

The food was okay. Their turnip greens and potato salad are good. However, I’m disappointed that they don’t have the same sides every day. When I came in for the first time yesterday it wasn’t the day for Mac and Cheese. I think that’s ridiculous. I got the catfish and it was over-breaded. Also this restaurant needs a deep cleaning. The floors were disgusting!

The turkey and cornbread dressing tasted like my Mama's. The candied yams were nicely seasoned with a bit of clove. The mashed potatoes and gravy were yummy. The corn bread was perfect. The iced tea came with abundant lemon wedges ands the service was friendly and prompt. The spiced apples were quite good. What's not to love?

Good southern comfort food and lots of it. The service was excellent as well. The place was packed with customers, allow some wait time for a table.

Best fried chicken and vegetables in Montgomery. Been eating here 35 years. Catfish and other items good too. Family friendly!
