This is a very busy lunchtime eatery. It is well worth the wait. The environment is very welcoming and decorated beautifully. They offer booth and table seating, so bring a party of any size. There are a few private rooms that can host business luncheons. They offer a variety of southern comfort foods that are cooked to perfection. They have great desserts as well. The price is very inexpensive for a sit down lunch restaurant.

Baked chicken almost flavorless. Used to be great when first introduced, tender, juicy and well flavored through, but hasn't been like that for a long time now. Ham was better, but only fair with bland flavor and not too tender. Sweet potato casserole pretty good, but with new owners, Ice House restaurant has better. Most other food was good though, pretty good for the price.

Really nice soul/ country food. Very reasonably priced with 1 meat, 2 sides, and a drink for under $7. Try the meat loaf.
