I don’t understand how this restaurant gets positive reviews. We arrived about 4:30 today. We were among the first to arrive. No one spoke to us. Our server was sweet and obviously new as she knew virtually nothing about the menu. It took about 20 minutes to get our meal. I had asked if the ribs were dry or wer but she didn’t know. They arrived without any sauce on them, but they were greasy. The coleslaw was coated in mustard and looked like the mustard potato salad. It was disgusting. My son in law ordered the hamburger steak and it arrived just plain without any gravy or sauce. It was the exact size of my daughters regular cheeseburger 🍔. The fries on my daughters and granddaughters plates were barely cooked and were soggy and tasteless. We asked for ranch dip which never arrived. Our drinks were never refilled and we didn’t see our server again until she brought our tab. I told the server I wanted to pay for my dinner so I put the cash in with my daughters credit card. The server took the cash as her tip! The air conditioning was on full blast and with tonight’s cold rain, it was miserably cold in the restaurant. As we left, again no one spoke, thanked us or acknowledged our presence. We will NEVER go back there again! Food was tasteless overall (except the hush puppies which were crispy and delicious) and poorly plated and served. We had heard they had great food and had good reviews but this was not a pleasant experience. Management ~ take note. Your restaurant needs help and your staff needs training.

The best family dining in North Alabama. The BBQ and Catfish is some of the best you will fine and hush puppies to die for. I Love This Place.

Food may be good but I couldn't say because the web site says open on Monday and after driving there we find they are closed on Monday.

I've lived around this restaurant most of my life and for the first time tried the smoked half chicken(only thursday-saturday) and it was awesome, paired with a baked potato and baked beans and I was in heaven. They also have some of the best Brunswick stew, homemade only in winter. And for dessert a nice cut of homemade coconut cake that's been drenched in creme of de coconut and condensed milk, piled high with a layer of whipped icing and coconut.... mm mm mm this one is one that reminds me of my Grandma. Anyways, find your way in this area, you have to stop in and try the menu, famous for their catfish, dock your boat and come on by for a beautiful view and down home charm.

One star is being generous. The food and service were equally awful. We'll never go back.
