Food was amazing! The staff very friendly! Food fell on the floor by the next table by previous guests, table was clean , 3 different associates came by the table prep it and sat new guests No one cleaned the floor. They could have removed the rice of the floor without disturbing my table.

Over priced Japanese cuisine with limited atmosphere and a complex menu with specials for every section, making it difficult for even the best servers to know what to recite and suggest. The Hibachi grill side of the restaurant never fails, always great food and a great time. Their scallops are delicious. DON'T FORGET TO TIP YOUR CHEFS IF YOU SIT HIBACHI SIDE. I can't imagine they are making more than the people that sit down in front of them. Show them some respect and appreciate for their craft. Same goes with sushi chefs if you dine specifically for sushi.

I recently had bariatric surgery where 80 to 90% of my stomach was removed, therefore my portion size is that of a three year old. My surgeon gave me a card to present at restaurants asking that I be allowed to ordered smaller portions or from the kids menu. Tonight at Styx in Spanish Fort, I asked to order from the kids menu after explaining my situation and the manager would not allow it. I have never been refused by other restaurants. I enjoy the hibachi experience very much, but my next experience will not be at the Styx in Spanish Fort.

The first time I went, it was totally awesome. The second time was ok, not impressed. That time and my last things weren't good. I have gotten way better sushi at my local little Chinese restaurant than here, and for a lot cheaper too. I guess, if you don't want sushi this is an ok place. I didn't get sushi the first time around and it was good, just still a little expensive for the quality. I have no problem paying for a high quality meal, but if you charge me a good price the food better be worth it. 1/3 times isn't enough to entice me to come back. There are better places to eat close by.

Took our daughter for her birthday on 4/11/18 to get hibachi. This was our third and last time going to Stix for hibachi, and may be our last time going at all. The three times we have gone for hibachi, the chefs' performances were subpar. Part of eating at the grill is enjoying the show. The "chefs" acted as though they didn't care to be working, and either quickly cooked up the meals or gave us a half-assed performance. I am no hibachi connoisseur, but we have received better performances at many other locations. Lastly... who offers a 3.46% discount on anything? Either offer a discount, or don't. Offering a 3.46% discount is a slap in the face for the reasoning you offer a "discount" in the first place. Highly advise either getting rid of your "discount" or go to the average of 10% like most other restaurants.
