A living piece of Anchorage history that has been a staple of fine dining. It's a family run restaurant whose meticulous running has kept it consistently awesome. The steaks are arguably the best in the city and the rest of the menu rides comfortably along with it (seafood and other great pairings). If you haven't been to Club Paris, you are missing out on some of the best dining Alaska has to offer. The atmosphere is a bit dark but it adds to its retro charm.

I was not as satisfied as most of the recent reviews. It was so dark that I had to use my flashlight to read the menu. I got the idea from other patrons who were doing the same thing. Very noisy due to how many tables they have packed into the place. Many time I found myself leaning forward just to hear what was being said to me. The food was so-so. I came here for the Prime Rib, but they were out, so I ordered the 16oz New York strip, with home fries. Although the meat was very well cooked and full of flavor, nothing else on the plate was worth eating. The home fries were to greasy and old.The french onion soup was tasty but not worth having twice. All in all, I walked away disappointed.

Our waitress Bernadette was a sweetheart. It was my birthday and she paid for my cheesecake that I was taking home because I couldn't eat another bite. I was so full because the food was beyond wonderful . my husbands steak was so tender and so yummy he didn't need a knife or steak sauce. I had the saluted scallops and they were the best I have ever had. All homemade and it didn't even cost as much as we thought it was going to. Can't wait to go back.

I love Club Paris! I have been here numerous times and have always had a great meal. I get the filet with a baked potato and a nice refreshing gin & tonic and am never disappointed. It is always an excellent quality steak cooked perfectly to my specification. And the bar is well stocked. I have a business associate who comes to town regularly from Portland, and this is one of his most requested places for dinner while here. When I go with him, we normally get the appetizer sampler plate before dinner and that is amazing!! Delicious halibut strips, fried mushrooms, beef tips, etc.

Not sure what the deal is with this place, some people in Anchorage rave about it and I could never go here again and be perfectly fine with it. Not a fan of the atmosphere, location, or seating. The food was fine, nothing to get excited about. The service was acceptable. Thanks but no thanks.
