Our hiking guide suggested we go here for dinner and we were not disappointed! The food and service were excellent and prices are incredibly reasonable. Huge menu, massive beer options, and everything we had was hot and very tasty. I would argue that their burgers are among the best I've ever had, and I love burgers! The halibut chowder in a sourdough bread bowl was also great. The views from the restaurant and bar are amazing. I will definitely stop here again when we are back in Alaska!

I thought The Hangar was a little over hyped. I got the first mate’s plate, a piece each of fresh/local salmon and halibut. I enjoyed the side salad (wild rice, greens, sundried tomatoes, and goat cheese) however, my fish wasn’t cooked well. The salmon don’t have much flavor and the texture was a little rubbery. I ended up drowning it in the chutney, which was nice. The halibut was better, buttery and tender. I don’t know if the portion sizes make sense for the price, but the meal is served with a generous basket of bread.

The view and the people are both amazing! I was traveling through and had the best experience I could of imagined. Felt extremely welcomed, chatted with some of the locals, and felt extremely safe as a female traveling solo. Would recommend! The food is also really great!

Wanted fresh local fish and got choice of cod, halibut and salmon. Chose the last two deeeeeeeelicious! Friendly staff and great beer. Views over sea planes by harbour. Forget cruise food for today - go here!

Third visit the charm. The crab legs were incredible! Very good wedge salad. Service from Betty was the best of our three visits!
