I'm pretty picky when it comes to barbecue. Not very good compared to similar places in the lower 48. The main reason I posted a 1 star review is because the other day my wife and I tried this place for the first time. The owner Randy was very nice and seemed like a cool guy. The food wasn't very good but other than that it was an alright experience. However the very next day my wife recognizes Randy coming into her work. He was a completely different person. He treated her very poorly and made a huge scene with his anger. It's funny how Randy thinks it's ok to treat his customers well since they are giving him money, but kindness just simply doesn't apply once that person leaves Randy rib shack. It's a small town Randy and if you burn all your bridges your gonna be out of business. That is why my wife and I refuse to return to Randy rib shack. We will definitely be warning all of our friends to steer clear of this place.

Okay quality. I mean once in a while, you want to have bbq. There are two sauces: regular and spice. I had the regular and I feel like it has too much garlic in it...

It's just ok. Got the brisket and felt the food tasted old and microwaved. Not used to Alaskan BBQ so that's maybe why I didn't find it pleasing.
