Pros: Place was clean with nice, rustic wood accents. Cons: Lousy food for our co. Christmas party. This place took every shortcut w/ meal prep & presentation so the food was scant, really plain, not good. Veggies barely edible. And who stuffs mushrooms that are 3/4" diam???? ---stuffed w/ ???). Dessert sooo simple & was lousy. They even crammed the buffet line in a *tiny* room that was (maybe) 15'x10', & the attendant was only looking at her phone; nice, but not attentive. Ran out of plates. Final take: Food/drink servers were nice, atmosphere fairly Alaskan, but the food just stunk.

The manager Failed miserably as it took Manager 4 days to return call to make a reservation for my business meeting. I contacted the Cannery Lodge in Kenai to make a reservation for a business meeting to conduct interviews of potential employees at the lodge to include needing lodging rentals as many were travelling in for the interview. Staff could not assist when I called, the manager was left messages to contact me. 4 days later she called and left a voice mail telling me to remove my ad that had be publicized that she did not have a reservation for me. Our future company business will be taken elsewhere, the tone of the manager's voice was rude and was very unhelpful for being in the hospitality business.

A class act from beginning to end. Their private boat launch is a godsend during the personal use dipnet fishery.

The Cannery Lodge is an unparalleled experience - Waterfront property near the mouth of the Kenai River, top of the line customer service, attention to detail throughout the entire campus, on-site lounge and restaurant, and outdoor fire pits for guests' use. Their quiet campus works for both for corporate professionals or a couple looking to get away from the noise. All of the staff go the extra mile to ensure your stay with them is top of the line. I would highly recommend The Cannery Lodge for your next stay in Kenai!

This Lodge is amazing! Beautiful inside and out they really did a spectacular job with this lodge. The fact that its out of town but still on the Kenai river and only a couple mile drive from Kenai and Soldotna puts it in an amazing place as well. All Around amazing.
