I wish I could give this restaurant now stars but the service and, worse, the apathy of the management towards the poor service drag it down. I almost dropped it to a two - the service is that bad. We are local and dined here frequently when were first moved to the area but now are reluctant to go. To be specific, is not that the server's are not friendly. It's that they are poorly trained and inept. Drink orders never appear. Food orders are wrong. Food comes out at different times. Tables are forgotten. The list goes on. And the server's know there are problems because they apologize for it, but then do nothing. No visit from a manager to explain or apologize. No adjustment to the bill. Nothing. I even mentioned it to the manager the last time I was there. No change. To be fair. The food is good, some of it great. The owner is very nice. I don't think she realizes there is an issue. One other thing - reprint the menus. You must realize that they have become unreadable.

Went there for a company team dinner, and the overall experience was positive. The environment was pleasant with elegant decor and soothing lighting. The customer service was friendly and helpful. The appetizers and cocktails I had were delicious, but my pizza wasn't as much to my liking. It wasn't bad, just not an equal to the calamari and fried mushroom fries. The cost for dinner was about 10-15 dollars per dish. Hope y'all enjoy your experience too!

My wife and I had been regular customers to Pizzeria Mimosa up until today. So today I was in the mood for Pizza so we decided to take a trip to this restaurant. When we got there we were greeted by the owner who quickly found us a seat. So far so good. Little did we know that things were going to fall apart. The restaurant was far from busy as there were only 2-3 tables with customers yet there were not less than 3-4 servers on the floor as well as the owner. On at least three occasions the servers would walk past us and not once did anyone come to us. This behavior of us being ignored continued for the next 15 minutes. Finally the owner came to us and ask if our server had come to us. I stated no one came to us and she (owner) said she'll send the server right over to us. I said "ok". We waited another 7 minutes. We were again ignored the entire time. We finally had enough, clearly we weren't welcomed there so we decided to leave. The service was completely unacceptable. We ended driving all the way to Tuscon to eat pizza. I'm very disappointed. To add insult to injury the next day I sent an email to the restaurant explaining the situation. To this day no one has ever responded to me. We didn't do anything wrong to deserve such treatment. Completely unacceptable. This was no way to treat customers especially those who had frequented this place multiple times in the past.

The best thing around for 75miles. This owner inspired/managed/operated slice of heaven is so unique. The flavors are bold and rich with quality. I encourage anyone in the area to give this one of a kind italian kitchen a go. Seconds and Thirds for me!

I am surprised this restaurant is rated higher or easily found when you search for dinner in the Sierra Vista area. This place is a gem in the food desert that is surrounding Fort Huachuca. Having just come from Europe as my last duty station, I am biased when trying any American take on lasagna or Italian main entrees, so I'll keep my critique to myself, but I must say that the pizza my daughter ordered was five stars for this area. Prices are moderate and the service was great. We will definitely be going back for another pizza to share and starting with their delicious calamari. Great place that everyone should check out - especially if you're very tired of the options in Sierra Vista.
