The castle Dome Cafe is a unique experience situated on the edge of the Grand Canyon. It is a castle like structure with plenty of seating space and historic photos to look at on the wall inside. The views of the canyon are absolutely amazing and there are surrounding windows that give you a full Panorama of the Canyon.

Food was good, and better than most parks, yet some freshness of few prepared item were lacking so we did not chance it and opted for grilled items which were pretty good. Service was very slow during lunch hour, so be prepared when you plan your time in the park. This cafe has plenty seating but not during prime times. Pleasant ding among the tall trees, Enjoy the shade.

Not sure exactly what I was expecting when I saw that food costs were relatively "inexpensive", but it ended up sucking. Probably because national parks have to serve burgers medium well and probably because it was a fast food equivalent. The service at a regular fast food restaurant is probably better, and your food comes out hot... The saving grace was a cold beer and a nice patio after a long hike. That part was appreciated every day... The outside bartender was a nice guy and seemed to be in better spirits... If only his IPA had been of normal strength. Womp womp.
