One of the best places for breakfast in Flagstaff. The portions are huge, and the diner coffee is great. I always build my own burrito, with a half order of biscuits and gravy. The staff is always kind too, but it tends to get busy (though I can understand why!)

Huge portions, decent food. I love biscuits and gravy, and the plate they give you is enormous! The food itself was alright, and the restaurant has a very nice and simple vibe going on. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food given.

Excellent food... Super big portions. Biscuits and gravy are awsome. Everything there is great. The staff are very friendly. Super fast. When we ordered it only took 8 minutes to get our food. I loved the experience and made a special stop just to eat there.

A must try! OK, so sometimes they are very crowded. And I hate waiting. However, these guys are worth the wait. Small, local, family feel. You have to get the biscuits. Even though they're popular the prices are still pretty good. The food is also very good. Try them!

Went to The Place for a late breakfast and it was okay. I have two different versions of my review and here's why...My initial review is based on my misinterpreted vision of what I thought this place was going to be. Plus I think I had too high of expectations reading previous reviews about their biscuits and gravy, something I don't take lightly lol. I ordered the meat and eggs (2 eggs + corned beef hash + grits + biscuits and gravy for my toast) for around $10 I believe. It was definitely a good amount of food, but the food itself was very average. The corned beef hash and grits were the commercial, from a can kind. Eggs were eggs, which is fine. And the biscuits were indeed big, but hey were a little hard and the gravy was also very basic. I imagine it's one many diners use. I don't know why but I guess I was expecting that stuff (the corned beef hash and gravy in particular) to be more homemade, made from scratch. For my second review, based on what it actually is, the food wasnt bad or disgusting, it was average. It's a nice, little diner that sells everything on their walls and has good service If you want that experience and don't want to bother with any hipster breakfast joints, this place is just fine.
