We love eating at So Cal. The fish is consistently good. I always get salmon and shrimp, and sometimes the clam chowder, which is awesome. My family mixes it up more and have always been happy with the food. The serving sizes are perfect - I always leave satisfied but have no leftovers. Very nice outdoor seating area with shade and misters.

If I was ever on Death Row, I want SoCal Fish Tacos for my last meal. And SoCal Fish Tacos for dessert. I've had fish tacos all over the world. Nobody beats theirs. If you get up from the table to use the rest room, you better take yours with you because it won't be there when you get back. It's a quick meal. Great for a fast lunch. Inexpensive, but flavorful. Ultra casual environment. Eat inside or out. Tacos come with standard beans & rice for sides. Typical oceanside surfer food and surf environment. Serves bottle beer, wine, & 2 flavor margaritas. Great service, friendly staff. They also serve non-seafood meals, sides, & the best Chicken Tortilla soup EVER. Food is made fresh in house, not processed or frozen. Portions are perfect. I always feel full, but not too full.

Great first date place. Quiet back patio. Perfect place to get *just* the right amount of food and not be left bloated or hungry. Great price. Taco Tuesdays. Happy Hour. Try the blackened grouper and the blood orange beer.

Had a good dinner here tonight. First time here for dinner, and it had been a couple years since I was here for lunch one day. When you walk in, it feels like you are suppose to wait to be seated, but we waited and no one came. Apparently you seat yourself. They seemed short staffed. However, the food was really good and the atmosphere was awesome. I’ll definitely give them another try in the future.

We placed an order by phone on Valentine's Day. The order was for 4 different types of fish tacos: cod, grouper, a blackened fish, and a seafood mixture. The tacos come with sides rice and beans. We also ordered the clam strips, which were super yummy, and the crab cakes. The service was prompt and thorough, despite being very busy, and the portion sizes were perfect. We would definitely visit SoCal Fish Tacos again and highly recommend it.
