Have sweet tooth so I strolled uptown. I chatted with a group of ladies laughing and walking down the street. They said they had just had something made with Kahlua and ice cream from Oaxaca. I said "great I'll go in there" BUT one of the ladies said soberly "no, don't". I should have listened to her. Ice cream had chunks of freezer burned ice in it. When I spit it out, I initially thought it was a piece of glass. Presentation? Sundae glass was so overfilled, so it was impossible to eat neatly, and more Kahlua and less ice cream wouldn't have changed the odd reaction of the servers and the bartender to a woman dining alone.

When we arrived we were greeted by a host. We requested to sit on the balcony as it was a beautiful day and we wanted to enjoy the view. He said he needed to check how long the wait for the balcony tables would be. He never returned. Quite a while later another hostess came to check on the lobby. She seated is quickly and the rest of the service was great. The complimentary salsa was pretty good, the chips very mediocre. We had a taco salad, enchilada platter, and margaritas. The drinks were good and strong. The good presentation was good and everything seemed to be fresh, however it was all just very bland. The flavors that were there were good, just not enough.

Ok. This place was good... We got into the city at 6. Everything was booked. The reviews for this place were not the greatest. But we were a party of 8 and they sat us. No problems with anything. Food was surprisingly good. Service was great to. What made it even better was the sun set on the mountains See the pictures I attached

Good Mexican food at a pretty good price. The open air second floor dining area is great on a nice day. If you can arrange to be there early evening at a full moon, watching it rise over the mountains is an amazing experience!

Wife and I were craving some Mexican food. Restaurant looked to have a good atmosphere. We were seated and quickly given chips and salsa along with water. We sat and pondered the menu then waited 30 minutes before having to ask a water lady to get a server. After asking to get a server we waited another 5 minutes and he showed up. Placed our orders and waited another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. During that time the guy handing out chips apologized and brought some more chips out. When the food arrived the fajitas were over cooked and my wife’s chicken plate was over cooked and cold. The overall flavor of the food was not great. By the time we received our check and discussed it with the waiter he removed my wife’s dinner charge because it was not edible. Real bummer for a vacation dinner in Sedona. I have never left a review on a business- figured I would spare someone else the hassle. If the owner reads this fire your waiters and promote the chip guy to serve tables........
