Only been to Yuma once, and the only thing I wanted to do was have a stellar Mexican lunch. This place was exactly what I wanted. Chill atmosphere, amazing food (not just flavor, but the meat quality was really high for the price!), and $5 margaritas! Also, their portions are generous. It's a bit further from the freeway than some other Mexican restaurants, but you won't regret driving the extra few minutes. I just wish I had planned a proper fast so that I could have ordered more! Edit: Forgot to mention service, also 5 star. It wasn't too busy when I went, sometimes at other places servers will either never leave you alone, or will seem to forget that anyone is in the restaurant. Perfect balance here, she was helpful and pleasant but also seemed to be actually paying attention to if we were running low on drinks, salsa, or whatever. Ah, and food was made very soon after ordering, another plus. Couldn't have been more than 10-15mins.

Old school restaurant. Good service and decent food. Ample portions could be shared.

My husband and I ordered tacos, thats the deep fried things on our plates. It wasn't the kind of Mexican food I'm used to. The beans weren't like any other refried beans I've eaten. My dad's chimi was nothing but a bunch of meat also fried in a tortilla and I can't say that the meat had much flavor. I would leave it up to the individual taste of others to visit this restaurant but it just wasn't a place I'd go back to.

I really liked this place. Until tonight. I asked for a shot of tequila and got told it's off the menu now, and can only get a beer or margarita. Ok. 20 minutes later, a mexican guy sitting at the table next to me gets a shot. I was completely sober and nice to the waitress when i asked. Apparently it's off the menu of your a white male with a fade haircut.

Great Mexican food, it can be busy sometimes, but if there's a little wait, it's more than worth it. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town!
