When I first moved here in 2009 it was a awesome restaurant to eat at when I found out they had a buffet that had country food almost like soul food it was great now everything is like that shortcut on cooking the meal the food is not seasoned well pot roast used to be awesome now they only have a little of carrots very few potatoes if any no onions. If the health department came in a lot of the silverware in the plates were not properly clean and that was a dis like of cleaning me but. I still participate in eating the food because I like Browns.

Unique one of a kind place - no chain here. Large selection on the buffet. Seafood also available but onlyat certain times. Food is good and buffet is reasonably priced. Nice gift shop. Be sure to check out the Wall of Fame behind the desert area for all the (mostly music) celebrities that have eaten there over the years and autographed pictures for the restaurant.

Best buffet I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Real home-cooked southern-style food. Excellent service. No complaints. My husband and I drive a truck cross country and stop at Brown's every chance we get. Love this place.

This is a central Arkansas landmark. Old, country feel. The employees are nice and old fashioned (in a good way lol.) You have to stop by Brown's and get your southern fix from time to time. I tried the pull pork, mashed potatoes, potato salad, fried chicken and gizzards, kernel corn, and the chicken and dumplings. Only thing I didn't like was the mashed potatoes and gravy. Could've used some salt and pepper, perhaps a little chicken or beef broth but that's minor. I'm rarely a fan of anyone's pulled pork but this was pretty good. The chicken and dumplings were cooked and seasoned well. The fried chicken was fried and seasoned well. The gizzards were better than I expected! I had to go back for seconds and I rarely do that with gizzards. Potato salad is usually a hit or miss in restaurants but this was a hit. Nothing fancy about it, it was a traditional recipe but it worked. Everything was fresh and they kept refilling the buffet with fresh food. I will be back when I'm near the Benton/Bryant area.

Stopped here yesterday on 03-22-18 at about 7:30 I don't know if the time was factor, but. This place is nothing like it use to be! Total nasty! Had to go through plates to find a clean plate and one bowl still had food on it but it was supposed to been cleaned! The area where the drinks come from had brown stuff coming from under it! The forks and spoons looked dirty... I barely ate anything and just got up and left! Spent 28 dollars and some change on NOTHING! Will never stop there again!
