First visit at 3:30pm. First impressions can sometimes tell you a lot. Man employee was standing by the bar with his pants hung way low and 3/4 of his red underwear showing, made no attempt to pull them up, then sat at bar playing on phone. Rug by front door should have been thrown out long ago, was ripped and filthy! Floors were dirty and ledge by windows full of dust and bugs. Waitress seated us at a table with bench and chairs. The cloth bench was very dirty; crumbs, dust and long hair on the seat. We moved to another table and it was dirty, especially under the salt and pepper shakers and the sugar holder. Waitress was attentive but not interested in us or telling us about the restaurant or area. Shrimp Alfredo was hot, noodles done well but the shrimp tasted more like left over crawdads, sauce was watery and fishy tasting. Chicken Parmesan was hot and tasty and portions sufficient. Served only with room temperature French bread, no salad or warm bread. For the price this restaurant should make a better effort.

Went here with some business acquaintances. We were all disappointed. Restaurant ambiance is neat and looks like a cool place, but the food was bland and poorly prepared. Wished I was at an Olive Garden, that would have been better. I ordered the veal with risotto. Meal arrived, veal with spaghetti. They were out of risotto but didn’t care to tell me until the plate was on the table. Another person ordered lasagna, they were sold out and told him to “just make it at home” and order the spaghetti and meatball instead.

Calzone was like a cheesecake with hard paste around. Beer bottle was gone even not empty in time of toilet. No change given back. I don't pay 3 dollars somethings tip for such a disgusting taste. Please go one's to Italy and learn how to make real pizzas. Thank you.

Wonderful panini offerings with sourdough bread. Pasta salad side dishes are changed periodically. Atmosphere is excellent with antique marble tables. Servers are top notch. Our favorite lunch stop!

Always a reliable local place with great pasta. I like sitting at the small bar and engaging the bartender. Owner John G. is a class act. His 45 years long partner Joanne is even better...
